Episode 15 - Teacher of the Year



Episode 15 Overview -
In this episode, Dr. Jeck has a conversation with Mr. Raymond Crowell, the 2019 Teacher of the Year for Fauquier County Public Schools.  Mr. Crowell is a health and physical education teacher at Marshall Middle School.
    Dr. Jeck poses the following questions to Mr. Crowell:

    • Why do you always seem happy at your job?
    • How many years have you been in the teaching profession?
    • Do you think the kids have changed much in the 20 years since you've been teaching?

    Episode 14 - Academic and Career Fair



    Episode 14 Overview -

    In this special episode, Dr. Jeck talks to several students and teachers at the Academic and Career Fair on February 26. At the fair, eighth-grade students rotated through 14 CTE areas and seven academic areas to learn about the courses available to them as they enter high school.

    The Academic and Career Fair is a student-driven showcase, featuring FCPS high school students leading continuous presentations related to each course offering.
